Barium peroxide

Barium peroxide is used to bleach animal substances, vegetal fibers and straw; as a glass decolorizing; in the production of hydrogen peroxide and oxygen; in dyeing and printing textiles; with aluminum in the welding industry; in cathodes; in ignition compositions; and as oxidizing agent in organic synthesis.^1,2
