Product applications
Ethyl acetate is used as organic solvent for nitrocellulose, varnishes and lacquers; in the production of smokeless powder, artificial leather and silk, photographic films and plates, perfumes, cleaning textiles; as an essence in in pharmaceuticals and food;1 as solvent in chromatography and as reagent and extraction and purification medium of organic products in organic synthesis.1,2 Mainly used in the electronics, cosmetic, printing, food, coating3-6 and agrochemical industries.4,6
